Clear Capital partners with Recursion to leverage mortgage data intelligence for valuation model accuracy

Recursion’s dataset provides a solid foundation for Clear Capital to develop more accurate real estate valuation solutions with minimum delay

RENO, Nev. — June 30, 2021 — Clear Capital, a national real estate valuation and analytics fintech leader, today announced a partnership with Recursion, the country’s preeminent provider of analytic data tools in the mortgage industry, to produce even more accurate valuation models and solutions. Using Recursion’s mortgage big data intelligence, Clear Capital can introduce more accurate and timely property valuation solutions into the marketplace.

Leveraging hundreds of valuable data points, Recursion can calculate and reproduce reports in the marketplace at a much more granular level and in a more timely fashion than is typical for the industry. This robust set of data, updated daily, can be used to power Clear Capital models, while offering Clear Capital customers a more detailed understanding of trends in the market.

“At Clear Capital, we’re providing both automated valuation solutions and automated underwriting solutions for the market, as well as working closely with servicers to help them better understand their valuation at a portfolio level and increase their customer retention,” said Kenon Chen, executive vice president of corporate strategy at Clear Capital. “Partnering with Recursion lets us develop more accurate models that will help us achieve goals in these areas and in a more timely manner. We’re looking forward to all that’s to come through this partnership with Recursion’s founder Li and the team.”

“By using our clean, accurate and timely data sets as a foundation, Clear Capital can build better valuation models that will revolutionize the industry, and offer a better user experience for its customers,” said Li Chang, founder and CEO of Recursion. “This partnership with Clear Capital comes at a time when we’re expanding our footprint in the mortgage lender space. We’re excited to play a role in Clear Capital’s mission of pioneering the future of real estate valuation, analytics, and platform technology solutions.”

This announcement closely follows the recent announcement of ClearProp™, a comprehensive property valuation and analytics tool with nationwide coverage that enables quick and accurate property value conclusions, and ClearInsight™, an easy-to-use mobile app that enables real estate professionals, homeowners, and appraisers alike to quickly generate a complete digital picture of a home. With these tools, Clear Capital is changing the face of property valuation and working to solve the real estate and mortgage industry’s most pressing challenges.
