Enabling Cookies on Your Browser
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of text that a web site places on your computer to keep track of user-specific information. Clear Capital® and REO Network® do not place any personal information (phone, email, password, etc.) on cookies. We only validate that you have passed proper security measures. There is no danger or privacy infringement in accepting a Clear Capital/REO Network cookie.
Setting Your Browser to Accept Cookies
You will first need to identify your browser type and version. This can be accomplished on most browsers by clicking Help, then About. Once you identify your browser type, follow the appropriate instructions below.
Setting Your Browser to Accept Cookies
Internet Explorer 6 (or newer) or AOL 6 (or newer)
These browsers have added privacy features, which can prevent user's from logging into ClearCapital.com.
- From your browser, Click 'TOOLS'.
- Click 'INTERNET OPTIONS'.
- Click on the 'PRIVACY' tab.
- Move the slider to the 'LOW' position.
- Click 'APPLY'
- Close down the 'INTERNET OPTION' boxes and try to log in.
Internet Explorer 5.5 and Earlier Versions
PC
- From your browser, Click 'TOOLS'.
- Click 'INTERNET OPTIONS'.
- Click on the 'SECURITY' tab.
- Click on the INTERNET icon (Usually a globe).
- Move the slider to 'MEDIUM' (If there is no slider, click the 'CUSTOM LEVEL' button, and then click 'RESET TO MEDIUM').
- Click APPLY then OK.
- Try logging in to ClearCapital.com again.
Mac
- From your browser, click 'EDIT'.
- Click 'PREFERENCES'.
- Double click 'RECEIVING FILES' in the left window.
- Single click on the sub-item named 'COOKIES'.
- In the right window, select the drop down menu item named 'NEVER ASK" or 'ASK FOR EACH SITE' (in which case you will have to click accept the cookie when prompted).
- Click OK
- Try logging in to ClearCapital.com again.
